Pakistan wicketkeeper and captain Sarfaraz Ahmed took a “superb” diving catch to remove New Zealand’s top-order batsman Ross Taylor in their World Cup match in Birmingham on Wednesday.
It all happened in the ninth over of the match, Taylor got a thick edge of Shaheen Afridi’s full-length delivery and Sarfaraz threw himself to his right, flying like a ‘Superman’. The 32-year-old wicket-keeper plucked the ball to give Afridi his second wicket.

Later, Sarfaraz hit the winning runs of the match, as he finished off the innings with a boundary, as Pakistan chased down the 238 run target with five balls to spare.
