After unfollowing Virat Kohli on Instagram, Rohit Sharma unfollows Anushka Sharma as well

A rift between Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma and skipper Virat Kohli was reported by media after India’s shocking exit from the recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup. Now, recent updates are coming in that after unfollowing his teammate Virat Kohli on Instagram, Rohit has unfollowed Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Rohit has unfollowed Kohli’s wife Anushka on Instagram, the Indian opener unfollowed Virat long ago when the rumours of a rift between the two surfaced.

“The problem between the two best batsmen started some years ago when Rohit and his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan left the management company that Virat is associated with. At the ICC World Cup 2019, everything appeared hunky-dory until the Indian team’s abrupt exit after the semis,” the report said.

The rift between two of the biggest cricketing stars surfaced when it was reported that Team India is divided into two factions. One is led by Rohit Sharma and the other by Virat Kohli.

It is also being said that Kohli and Ravi Shastri doesn’t involve anyone from the team when it comes to decision making. Indian players were upset when Vijay Shankar was included in the World Cup squad ahead of Ambati Rayudu but nobody raised voice as they feared of losing their spot from the team.
