Fans react as woman alleges India pacer Mohammad Shami for sending her private messages

Indian pacer Mohammad Shami’s trouble with women seems far from over as he was outed by a lady on social media for sending her private messages. Fans, who are well aware of his history in the matter, voiced their thoughts on Twitter.

Shami wished the woman who is definitely a stranger to him ‘good afternoon’ in her inbox on Instagram. And the woman who goes by the name Sophia did not take long to realize that the message was from a famous man. She immediately posted a screenshot of the same while also expressing confusion over why would a popular player keep messaging her.

“anyone wanna tell me why some random cricket player with 1.4m followers keep messaging me,” wrote Sophia.

The screenshot soon went viral and unsurprisingly Shami has become the butt of all jokes.

Shami had been involved in a very public, drawn-out domestic abuse and adultery issue with his wife Hasin Jahan, who earlier accused him of stepping out of the boundaries of wedlock.

On the cricket field, Shami has enjoyed a stellar World Cup so far picking up 14 wickets in just 4 matches albeit getting smacked around in the death overs.

He had conceded 44 runs in his last three overs against England and also failed to nail his yorkers in the next game against Bangladesh. And therefore, it may be one of the reasons why team management dropped him from the playing XI in the game against Sri Lanka and in the semi-final against New Zealand.
