India defeated Bangladesh by 28 runs in Birmingham on Wednesday and booked their semifinal birth in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
However, it was not centurion Rohit Sharma nor yorker king Jasprit Bumrah who stole the show during the match. That honour belonged to Charulata Patel. The 87-year-old became an internet sensation after she was seen cheering for the Men in Blue during their World Cup clash against Bangladesh.
Patel was caught on camera cheering for Team India and soon grabbed the attention of everyone.
Even ICC was smitten by her and the official Cricket World Cup Twitter handle shared her video as well as popular sports anchor Ridhima Pathak interviewed the passionate fan.

She also got a chance to meet Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma after the end of the match.
Kohli and Rohit went up to Charulata Patel and thanked her for supporting Team India. They even held her hands and took blessings from her.
How amazing is this?!
