If anyone built a strong new Indian cricket team and taught them to believe that they can conquer mountains, it’s Sourav Ganguly. He is lovingly known as ‘Dada’, which means elder brother in Bengali. Everyone still remembers the impressive, pathbreaking and trendsetting leadership skills of Ganguly besides his habit of breaking records after records.
The former Indian captain recently took to Instagram to post about the beginning of the 8th season of his famous Bengali quiz show ‘Dadagiri.
On seeing the post, legendary West Indies batsman, Brian Lara, who was recently admitted to a hospital in Mumbai due to chest pain, expressed his curiosity as to what exactly is ‘Dadagiri’. Ganguly replied with a short and sweet explanation; just then, Yuvraj Singh joined the conversation. He made a hilarious comment followed by two mischievous emojis.
Yuvi, like Sehwag, was known for leg-pulling and prank-playing during his days with the national team. He was very close to Sourav Ganguly under whom he made his international debut. The stylish and flamboyant left-hander was the Man of the Series in the 2011 World Cup.
Yuvraj recently announced his retirement from international cricket and is now gearing up for the Global T20 Canada League.
