Australian ODI skipper Aaron Finch recently picked his All-Time Ashes XI that he has seen playing. The list includes 7 Aussies and 4 English players, with Australian legend Steve Waugh as the captain of the squad.
For the opening pair, Finch picked Matthew Hayden for his aggressive batting and former England skipper Sir Alastair Cook.
For the middle order, Finch names the all-time great Ricky Ponting and Austalia’s current star batsman Steve Smith, followed by Kevin Pietersen and Steve Waugh.
FInch selected Adam Gilchrist as the wicket-keeper. Gilchrist is also known for his dominating batting as he was the first batsman to hit 100 sixes in Test cricket.
Pace army includes Andrew Flintoff, Stuart Broad along with Australia’s Glenn Mcgrath. For the spin department, Finch picked the magical leg spinner, Shane Warne.
