Former Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj passed away on the night of August 6, leaving the nation shocked and saddened.
The veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader took her last breath at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, following a cardiac arrest. She was 67 years old.
Swaraj was appointed the foreign minister in the first term of the BJP government in 2014. She opted out of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections citing health reasons.
Tributes poured in for Sushma Swaraj from several current and former cricketers, who were devastated by the tragic news.

#SushmaSwaraj you will always live in our hearts. I can never forget how you got me out of my emotional break down after my parents death and got me involved in parliamentary debates.
