Dale Steyn retires: Twitter gets emotional as South Africa legend bids goodbye to Test cricket

South Africa legend Dale Steyn announced his retirement from Test cricket on Monday.

The 36-year-old, who played the last of his 93 Tests against Sri Lanka in February this year, scalped 439 wickets during his career, making him the leading wicket-taker in South African Test history.

Fast bowler Steyn, the eighth leading wicket-taker in history, will continue to be available for one-day and T20 internationals.
