In July, Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad appointed England’s World Cup-winning coach Trevor Bayliss as the new head coach, replacing Tom Moody. And on Monday, they named former Australia wicket-keeper batsman Brad Haddin as their new assistant coach.
Both Bayliss and Haddin have prior IPL experience as they have worked for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) but not at the same time.
But, Haddin and Bayliss have prior experience working together and succeeded when they won the Champions League T20 for Sydney Sixers as captain and coach respectively, in 2012.
“We welcome Brad Haddin as the Assistant Coach of SunRisers Hyderabad. #OrangeArmy #RiseWithUs,” SRH wrote in their social media post.
