Virat Kohli led-Team India took time out of their crowded schedule to wish the citizens of their nation a happy Independence Day.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video on Twitter in which Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Kedar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer, Khaleel Ahmed, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, and coach Ravi Shastri can be seen wishing their fans on occasion of India’s 73rd Independence Day.
Kohli termed the Independence day as “the most iconic day in the history of our country” whereas Kedar Jadhav wished the Indian fans in the Marathi language.

The Indian cricket team is currently on a month-long tour of West Indies. They have already whitewashed the hosts 3-0 in the T20I series and are in a commanding position in the ODI series with 2-match Test series to follow.
The Men in Blue lead 1-0 in the three-match ODI series with the third ODI taking place in Trinidad.
