England all-rounder Ben Stokes became a more popular personality on Wikipedia than American singer Taylor Swift for a brief period last week.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) uploaded a graph from Chartr (an organization that provides insights through graphical representation) on their official Twitter handle.
The caption read:
“For a moment, Ben Stokes was a more popular search than Taylor Swift! There’s no Bad Blood here Tay (Taylor Swift) but Stokesy’s (Ben Stokes) knock was the greatest Love Story. A Gorgeous innings we couldn’t believe in our Wildest Dreams! Shake It Off, your wiki page is Out Of The Woods.”

The ICC included the names of Swift’s hit tracks – ‘Bad Blood,’ ‘Love Story,’ ‘Gorgeous,’ ‘Wildest Dreams,’ ‘Shake It Off,’ ‘Out Of The Woods’ in their tweet.
Stokes had scored a match-winning 135 not out in the second innings of the third Test that helped England beat Australia and level the series 1-1. He also picked up four crucial wickets. As a result, he rose to the second spot among all-rounders in the ICC Test Rankings. Apart from that, he moved up to the 13th position among Test batsmen after his unbelievable knock at Headingley.
The fourth Ashes Test is all set to start from September 4 at Old Trafford, Manchester. And fans would be hoping that Ben Stokes will be at his best and set the field on fire once again.
