Former India international Yuvraj Singh, who was a part of team Toronto Nationals in the Global T20 Canada 2019, had crashed in between an interview of Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting by his fiancee Erin Holland (also the female anchor of the tournament). And the fun part was that Yuvraj interrupted the two and asked them about their wedding plans?
“Time is running guys, get ready for the wedding,” the 2011 World Cup hero said ahead of the start of the match between Toronto Nationals and Edmonton Royals. The video clip became viral on social media, and no doubt fans loved it. However, none had any idea if someone will take it seriously too? But one of the fans did.
During the second qualifier of the tournament between Brampton Wolves and Winnipeg Hawks, a fan was seen holding a placard that read, “GT20 Canada Final tomorrow. But when is the wedding guys?” It had pictures of Erin, Ben, and Yuvraj in it.
Erin was in splits and blamed Yuvraj for it.
“Hahaha this one is all your fault @YUVSTRONG12 #whenstheweddingguys @GT20Canada @Cuttsy31,” she wrote in her tweet.
The left-hander found it funny as well.
