Ashes 2019: Sachin Tendulkar names the key player for Australia for the remaining part of 4th Test

Team Australia looks in control as Steve Smith scored his third double hundred in Test on Day 2 of the 4th match at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester. England has an uphill task to reach near Australia’s score of 497 to avoid giving them a big lead after the first innings.

Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar praised Steve Smith on Twitter for his spectacular batting performance. He tweeted, “COMPLICATED TECHNIQUE but an ORGANIZED MINDSET is what sets @stevesmith49 apart. Incredible comeback!

Smith now is the leading run-scorer in Test for 2019, scoring 579 runs in just four innings. Second to him is England’s Ben Stokes who scored 513 runs in 13 innings.

Before the start of play of Day 3, Sachin named the player he thinks will be the key for Australia for the remaining part of 4th Test. “My instincts say that @nathlyon421 is going to be the key player for Australia in the remaining part of this Test,” Tendulkar tweeted.

Nathan Nyon has been in great form as he picked up a total of 14 wickets in the first three Ashes Tests. In the second innings of the 1st Test, Nathan dismissed six batsmen, taking his side to victory.
