During a one-day match between Victoria and Western Australia (WA) at the WACA, Jhye Richardson got the better of Glenn Maxwell, only to see the Victorian dropped in the outfield. Maxwell then launched three huge sixes before the WA young-gun fired back with a searing bouncer and some choice words.
Maxwell, however, just smiled and started talking to his partner Nic Maddinson as Richardson walked away with rage and anger.

Maxwell went on to score a 35-ball 51, but WA thrashed Victoria by 125 runs to start their 2019 Marsh Cup campaign on a thumping note. A 58-ball ton from Marcus Stoinis helped WA post a massive total of 386 for 8.
Victoria, in reply, never looked in contention despite the half-centuries from Maxwell and Maddinson. They were eventually bundled out for 261 in 39.2 overs.
