Virat Kohli or MS Dhoni – Jasprit Bumrah picks the better Indian captain

The latest version of Jasprit Bumrah is Bumrah 3.0, who keeps upgrading his skills and his knowledge of the game almost every single day.

Call him a freak if you like, but at present, Bumrah is one of the best fast bowlers in the cricketing world. It has been an amazing three years for the young pacer, ever since he made his T20 international debut for India in January 2016, transforming from a primarily one-dimensional fast bowler to someone who is now feared in all corners of the globe, for the skills he possesses. When he is on a song, he can single-handedly win matches for his side.

While he continues to puzzle many batsmen, he was recently puzzled by a female anchor who asked him to pick the better captain between Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni.

And, the answer from Bumrah is…

The 25-year-old Bumrah was put into quite a tricky situation when this question was put in front of him. Quite obviously, he responded by saying that it is a tough question for him. However, he picked MS Dhoni as his choice since he made his international debut under the legendary wicket-keeper batsman. “Yeah, this is a tough question. But, for me, MS Dhoni. Because I made his debut under him,” Bumrah said.

There has always been a constant debate about the better captain between MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. Both of them have helped take Indian cricket to greater heights. Dhoni is regarded to be the best Indian captain ever. However, he has got great competition from Kohli who is currently excelling in all three formats.

By winning the two-match Test series against West Indies, Kohli now has become the Indian captain with the most number of wins in Test cricket. He went past Dhoni who has 27 Test wins under his belt. Kohli has already tasted great success overseas than any other Indian skipper.
