WATCH: Afghanistan skipper Rashid Khan hits a Tennis forehand shot for a stunning six

What can Rashid Khan not do? He burst into the scene as a frontline mystery spinner, but in the last year or two, he seems to have become a batsman with a reputation of clearing the ground with ease.

After becoming the youngest captain in Test Cricket, Rashid was spotted playing an unorthodox shot during a T20I match between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe on Friday.

During the fifth match of the ongoing tri-series in Chattogram, Rashid hit a stupendous Tennis forehand shot to finish the innings on a high note.

It all happened on the first delivery of the last over when Afghanistan skipper came down the track to Zimbabwe pacer Chris Mpofu. With the bowler bowling a short delivery, Rashid was quick enough to bring out a forehand shot as he smacked the ball towards the mid-wicket area for a six.

However, Rashid’s effort wasn’t enough for an Afghanistan win as Zimbabwe captain Hamilton Masakadza playing his last international game drove his team to a 7-wicket victory.

Friday’s win also marked the first win in nine T20I outings for Zimbabwe against Afghanistan. The African side had not been able to beat their Asian rivals in any of their previous eight meetings before that day.
