WATCH: An absolute jaffa from Josh Hazlewood to dismiss Jos Buttler (Ashes 2019, 4th Test)

On Sunday (September 8), Australia retained the Ashes by defeating England in the 4th Ashes Test at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester. Chasing a target of 383 runs in their second innings, England only managed to get 197/10, losing by 185 runs.

It was a brilliant performance by the Australian bowlers, getting England all-out in both the innings. In the match for Australia, Pat Cummins picked seven wickets followed by Josh Hazlewood (6 wickets).

In the 74th over of England’s second innings, Hazlewood bowled an absolute beauty to get rid of Jos Buttler. Buttler was batting at 34 runs off 111 balls along with Craig Overton at another end. It was a full-length delivery that jagged back in after pitching. Buttler didn’t offer any shot as the bowl kissed the off-stump.

Here is the video:

“It is fantastic. The boys fought all the way there. All the bowlers bowled exceptional all day. Patty Cummins was like an engine,” told Hazlewood after the match.

“I am good. I am still feeling pretty good. But might be a bit stiff tomorrow. It (winning the Ashes) is huge and obviously the pinnacle in Test cricket. We saw another great Test match here and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a helluva of a last couple of hours. It is a pretty quick turnaround to the last game and we still want to win the series,” he concluded.
