Cricket fraternity wishes Gautam Gambhir on his 38th birthday

Cricketer turned politician Gautam Gambhir celebrated his 38th birthday on Monday. The former India opener, who bid farewell to international cricket in December last year, donned a new avatar by plunging into politics for his second innings.

Gauti’s fans, colleagues and the cricketing fraternity extended their wishes to the Delhi lad on his big day. His fellow Indian colleagues Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin and VVS Laxman were among those who extended their wishes to the 2007 and 2011 World Cup finals hero.

Also, Gambhir thanked everyone for the lovely birthday wishes.

“Thank you everyone for the lovely birthday wishes. I thank almighty who blessed me with a wonderful family & amazing friends. Your wishes mean the world to me. I may not have been able to reply to everyone but I have personally seen everyone’s wishes and it was heartwarming,” he wrote in his thank you message.
