Hardik Pandya replies to a fan who tried to tease him with his ‘Aaj main karke aaya’ comment

Hardik Pandya has had back issues since the recent past. Following the 2019 World Cup, where Virat Kohli and Co. were eliminated in the semi-finals, Hardik was given a much-needed rest for the month-long West Indies tour and returned for the home T20Is against South Africa. However, the all-rounder is not currently a part of the national side and underwent successful back surgery in London on Saturday.

The 25-year-old recently provided an update on his surgery via Twitter. While many wished him all the best for a speedy recovery and swift return to the national setup, one of the fans tried to take a funny dig at Hardik by recalling his comment made earlier this year.

Hardik and KL Rahul were the guests in the popular TV show ‘Koffee with Karan’, and the episode was telecasted in January.

One of the comments which went viral was ‘Aaj main karke aaya’ (I did today). The fan quoted Hardik’s successful surgery tweet and reminded the Baroda-lad of his statement in a funny way. “Surgeon: Aaj main karke aaya,” the fan commented.

The fan’s comment didn’t seem to go down well with Pandya, and he wittily responded to him stating that he has given him the 20-second fame with his reply.

“Thanks mr nobody! Here is your 20-sec fame !!!” Hardik replied.

So far, Hardik has represented India in 11 Tests, 54 ODIs and 40 T20Is and has turned into a critical member of the side across formats. Already been a part of a few ICC events, Hardik is expected to bring in his experience and play a pivotal role in next year’s T20 World Cup in Australia.
