IND vs BAN 2019: BCCI announce India squads for the T20I and Test series

Virat Kohli has been rested for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, Rohit Sharma will lead the 15-member India squad, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Thursday.

Promising youngster Sanju Samson has been included in the squad for the Bangladesh T20s. Samson had recently smashed a double hundred in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Kerala against Goa.

All-rounder Shivam Dube has also earned his maiden India call-up for the 20-over games.

Kohli will return to lead the side for the two-match Test series. Left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem has been left out as Kuldeep Yadav returns to the side. India defeated South Africa 3-0 in the recently concluded series and selectors thought there was no need to change anything.
