Is Jasprit Bumrah moving to RCB? Mumbai Indians responds to a fan’s query

On the auspicious day of Dhanteras, the Mumbai Indians (MI) team owner Mukesh Ambani hosted a pre-Diwali bash at Jio World Centre.

The event was attended by Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Zaheer Khan along with MI head coach Mahela Jayawardena and other players.

The official handle of the most successful IPL franchise also shared the picture on social media with the caption, “Happy Diwali from Mumbai Indians’ #OneFamily #MumbaiIndians #MIDiwali.”

After seeing this picture, one fan noticed that premiere fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is missing in the photo and immediately took a cheeky dig at the Mumbai franchise as he tweeted, “Where is Bumrah? I think he is changing to RCB?”

In reply to the fan, MI officials on Twitter reverted with a GIF in which their skipper Rohit Sharma is asking everyone to “stay calm.”

The 25-year-old Bumrah recently sustained a back injury because of which he was not picked against South Africa and is not available for the upcoming series against Bangladesh as well. He underwent surgery in London and is currently undergoing rehabilitation, which has kept him away from the cricketing action. And this was the reason behind his absence from MI’s pre-Diwali bash.
