Former India captain MS Dhoni is currently on a sabbatical from competitive cricket. He has not featured for India since his team’s semi-final exit from the 2019 World Cup and his future in international cricket remains a hot topic of discussion.
Despite not having played for India for a while now, Dhoni continues to garner the limelight on social media.
On the occasion of Diwali, IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) shared a throwback video where Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo can be seen conquering another sport where the former decided to stun the latter with a ruthless smash.
As soon as Dhoni earned the point with a smash, Bravo said: “I’m going for a rally, man.” Dhoni in reply, said: “I don’t do rally.” Bravo said: “You go for the kill, huh?”
Dhoni and Bravo share a great camaraderie, as is evident from the video. The former Windies all-rounder has admitted in the past how Dhoni’s ability to define roles for every individual got the best out of him, in the initial stages of his IPL career.
