England all-rounder Ben Stokes pulled off a sensational catch to dismiss South Africa’s Andile Phehlukwayo in the 2019 World Cup is counted among the best on-field catches. Stokes was running towards the ball and later jumped in the air, stretching his body, at the right time to take a one-handed stunner.
When Stokes took that remarkable catch, former England skipper Naseer Hussain while on air, said, “No, You can not do that!”
Naseer’s words echoed again in the ears of fans when United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) fielder Rameez Shahzad grabbed a stunning catch. Rameez emulated Stokes’ one-handed stunner to send Scotland’s George Munsey back to the pavilion in the third playoff of the 2020 T20 World Cup Qualifier on Wednesday.
Munsey was batting on 65 when Ahmed Raza tossed one up to him, and he tried to clear the long-off boundary. But Rameez was too quick to reach the ball and put on an acrobatic fielding display.

Even though UAE got rid of dangerous-looking Munsey, they couldn’t win the game and fell 90 runs short in the chase.
With the win, Scotland has qualified for the showpiece event. Earlier, Namibia, Papua New Guinea, Ireland, and the Netherlands booked their places for the 2020 T20 World Cup in Australia.
UAE had lost to the Netherlands in the first playoff on Tuesday.
