IND vs WI 2019: BCCI announce squads for upcoming T20I and ODI series against West Indies

Fast bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami return to T20I squad as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced the squads for the upcoming limited-overs series against West Indies in December.

Under-fire wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, who aggregated 33 runs in the T20I series vs Bangladesh, has retained his spot. While Sanju Samson who didn’t get a single game in the previous series against Bangladesh has been dropped.

Virat Kohli is back at the helm as the skipper for the limited-overs series after being rested for India’s 2-1 series win over Bangladesh earlier this month. Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav has also been picked in both the squads.

Rookie all-rounder Shivam Dube, who made his T20I debut against Bangladesh, got his maiden ODI call-up.

Also making a comeback in the T20I side is spin bowling all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja who replaces Krunal Pandya.

Virat Kohli (c), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Deepak Chahar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

India’s T20I squad:
