Indian cricket fraternity pay homage to 26/11 Mumbai terror attack heroes

November 26, 2019, marks the 11th anniversary of the dreaded terror attack that happened in Mumbai in 2008.

The attacks were carried out at some of the most prominent areas of the financial capital of the country including the Taj Hotel, the Trident hotel, the Leopold Cafe and the Nariman House.

The assailants, who were 10 in numbers, were from the terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba and started the attacks from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. The attacks lasted three days and 174 people lost their lives, including the terrorists; with over 300 injured.

Mumbai was rocked to its core during and after these attacks and the only perpetrator caught was Pakistan’s Ajmal Kasab – who was hanged to death in 2012.

On this mournful day, the Indian cricket fraternity paid tribute to the victims and martyrs of the attacks on Twitter.
