IND vs WI 2019: Rohit Sharma posts angry emotions tagging Kieron Pollard; the Windies skipper responds

Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard have come face-to-face for India vs West Indies pre-series build-up. It all started after Pollard unfollowed Rohit on Twitter, and now it has escalated to the Indian vice-captain getting wake-up calls as early as at 4:00 am (IST).

Rohit, on Friday morning, took to Twitter to post a few angry emoticons while tagging Pollard on it.

The Windies skipper, later in the day, responded by posting an advertisement video in which the caller is seen telling Rohit that he was asked to wake him up by Pollard. After which the 32-year-old Sharma is seen hanging up the call in anger.

In an earlier video, released to spice up the build-up to the series, Rohit was seen picking up Pollard from an airport before leaving him alone in the middle of a highway.

Meanwhile, the reigning World T20 Champions are all set to resume another bilateral series against the Men in Blue. Pollard’s men will feature in three T20 internationals and as many One-day internationals. This will be the third limited over series that both sides will play in the last 13 months.

The Caribbean side toured India last year for a full series where they were defeated by 0-2 in the Test matches, 1-3 in the ODIs and were whitewashed in the shortest format of the game.

Earlier this year, Virat Kohli & Co. toured the Caribbean islands for another full-series where they once again whitewashed the Windies in the T20I series 3-0 before winning the ODI series 2-0 and the Test match rubber by 2-0.
