During the fifteenth match o the ongoing Mzansi Super League (MSL) in Cape Town, Paarl Rocks wrist-spinner Tabraiz Shamsi put on display yet another innovative celebration to entertain the fans.
It all happened on the fourth delivery of the 11th over when Cape Town Blitz batsman Asif Ali’s attempt to smash a Shami delivery out of the park saw him walking back to the pavilion. Ali hit a full delivery from Shamsi towards the long-on region but was caught by Paarl Rocks captain Faf du Plessis well inside the boundary.
Usually known for his out-of-the-box celebrations, Shamsi followed his ‘shoe celebration’ by blowing a kiss to his wife sitting in the stands.
Though Shamsi’s wife looked surprised at first, later, she responded to her husband in the same manner.
