Former India captain MS Dhoni has been out of action since the Men in Blue’s semifinal exit from the 2019 World Cup in England. He has not been a part of the Indian squad which toured the United States, Caribbean Islands and has also missed the home series against South Africa, Bangladesh and West Indies.
Dhoni was seen practicing at the nets at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi last November, but he said that till January, he wouldn’t answer questions on his sabbatical.
Recently a video of MS Dhoni has surfaced where he can be seen humming the tunes of an old Hindi song, which was posted by sports journalist Boria Majumdar on his Twitter handle. Dhoni was seen singing the famous song “Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar Hoon” in the video.
As I said yest it was a very relaxed conversation. First at the event and then for an hour and a half off camera on all things cricket. Will def write at some point. Here is @msdhoni singing his favorite two lines. We talked about him as father, husband, son and all else. pic.twitter.com/XQ3ETPiCjw

The All India Selection Committee chairman MSK Prasad has already made it clear that the panel has “moved on”. And Dhoni is aware of its intent to blood youngsters such as Rishabh Pant, keeping in mind the T20 World Cup in Australia next year.
One of the biggest names in Indian cricket, Dhoni led India to two world titles – the 2007 T20 World Cup in South Africa and the 2011 ODI World Cup at home.
