After leading Karnataka to Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy win in Surat, Manish Pandey marries actress Ashrita Shetty in Mumbai

Manish Pandey became the latest to enter the club of married cricketers after tying the knot with actress Ashrita Shetty on Monday morning.

Manish and Ashrita got married in a glittering ceremony in Mumbai, just hours after the cricketer led from the front to help Karnataka retain the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat on Sunday night.

Ashrita Shetty is a well-known face in the South Indian film industry. She shot to fame after winning a beauty pageant in 2010. The 26-year-old has also featured in films like Indrajith, Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum. It is also being speculated that she is playing a lead role in an upcoming movie under the direction of R. Panneerselvam.

“Looking forward to the India series, but before that there is another important series for me, I am getting married tomorrow,” Manish Pandey, who has been picked for India’s limited-overs series against West Indies, said after Karnataka’s win.
