During the seventh match of the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL), Perth Scorchers all-rounder Chris Jordan grabbed a stunner catch to dismiss Melbourne Renegades batsman Daniel Christian.
On the final delivery of the 18th over in Renegades’ chase, Dan Christian hit the ball hard as it raced towards long-on in no time. The Barbadian-born English cricketer had some ground to cover but he did not give up. Jordan leaped, diving to his right and took a catch to snaffle up dangerous Christian for a duck.
Jordan’s odd blinder not only ended Christian’s stay, but it also ended the Renegades’ slim hopes of winning the game as well.

Jordan was recently signed by Kings XI Punjab for a whopping Rs 3 crore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 auction.
The Scorchers beat the Renegades by 11 runs with Jordan returning figures of two for 30.
