South African veteran fast bowler Dale Steyn on Saturday revealed the name of his three favourite batsmen and one favourite fast bowler during a Q/A session with fans on Twitter.
The 36-year-old speedster was recently bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) during the India Premier League (IPL) 2020 auction at his base price of Rs 2 crore.
During his question-answer session with fans, a Twitterati asked Steyn about his favourite batsman.
The legendary pacer responded with the names of Quinton de Kock, AB de Villiers, and Virat Kohli.
Steyn shared the dressing room with de Kock and de Villiers during his time with the Proteas squad while he played under Kohli at RCB in IPL 2019.

Steyn names Pat Cummins as his favorite fast bowler
Another question that one of the fans asked Steyn was about his favorite fast bowler in the current lot. Steyn has, in the past, publically admitted about his admiration for Pat Cummins, and he took no time in taking his name as the answer to the fan’s question.
“It takes supreme athletes to bowl fast for five days in five Test matches. That is a heavy workload. I think Cummins is amazing. He is so fit and so strong. He is ridiculous. And, he is one of my favorite bowlers right now. A heavy workload at the World Cup, straight into an Ashes series. It was probably a good thing to give the guys a Test match off here or there. In Australia’s case, it worked off,” Steyn had said about Cummins as quoted by the Sydney Morning Herald earlier this year.

When one of the Twitter users inquired about the bowling line-up, which Steyn feels is currently the best in the world, the right-armer gave his vote to the Indian team.
