India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal received a funny remark on his height from England woman cricket team opener Danielle Wyatt after the former posted a picture from his photoshoot with teammate Kuldeep Yadav on Instagram.
The 29-year-old Chahal had shared the picture ahead of India’s first ODI against the West Indies in Chennai, where the hosts suffered an embarrassing eight-wicket defeat.
“Making headshots look fun here in Chennai,” Yuzi captioned the picture on his Instagram.
Making fun of Chahal’s height, Wyatt commented, “I think you’re smaller than me,” along with a laughing emoji.
Chahal is yet to respond to Wyatt’s comment as the spinner is currently eyeing his return to the Virat Kohli-led side after missing out on the series opener.
On the other hand, Kuldeep, who featured in the contest, remained wicketless and conceded 45 runs in his 10-over spell at the sluggish Chepauk surface.
With India facing a do-or-die situation in the second ODI of the three-match rubber at Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, it will be interesting to see if captain Kohli decides to go in with the same eleven or includes Chahal.
