IND vs WI 1st T20I: Cricket and film fraternity amazed by Virat Kohli’s masterclass in Hyderabad

Virat Kohli led India to a six-wicket win over the West Indies with an unbeaten 94 off 50 balls in the first T20I of the three-match series in Hyderabad on Friday.

The Indian skipper’s decision to bowl first didn’t go as per the plan as the touring Caribbean side posted 207/5 in their stipulated 20 overs.

India lost opener, Rohit Sharma, early but then chase master Kohli stitched a century partnership with KL Rahul (62) and propelled the hosts to cross the line with eight balls to spare.

Kohli garnered praise from both cricket and the film fraternity for his highest T20I score, which was laced with six boundaries and as many sixes.
