IND vs WI 1st T20I: Rohit Sharma’s sensational fielding at the boundary ropes leave fans in awe

During the first T20I of the three-match series between India and West Indies in Hyderabad, Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma impressed one and all with his sensational fielding efforts at the boundary ropes.

It all happened first on the first delivery of the 17th over when the Windies batsman Shimron Hetmyer hit a Deepak Chahar delivery down the ground. Washington Sundar, who was fielding at long-on, ran towards his right to attempt the catch and eventually dropped it.

Rohit, who was alert enough to provide back-up, dived to prevent the ball from going to the boundary and saved three runs for his side.

On the next delivery, West Indies captain Kieron Pollard hit the ball towards Rohit at long-on. While the 32-year-old was successful in taking a one-handed stunner, he had no other option than to drop the ball inside the rope in order to stop it from going for a maximum.
