IPL 2020 Auction: Chris Lynn reacts hilariously after Mumbai Indians grabs him at his base price

The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction started for the 2020 season in Kolkata, and the first player who came out was Australia’s power-hitter Chris Lynn. It was expected that the Aussie would attract some bug bid in the auction; however, it didn’t happen as he was bought by Mumbai Indians (MI) at a base price of 2 crores.

Lynn was a part of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad in the last season before they released him. He amassed 405 runs in 13 matches at a strike-rate of 139.65. Overall, Lynn has scored 1280 runs in 41 games, with 93 being his best.

Chris Lynn will pump up the Mumbai squad, which has stars like Rohit Sharma, Quinton de Kock, and Kieron Pollard.

Lynn reacted to the news and tickled the funny bone of many with his humorous take. He took to twitter and said, “Can’t wait for IPL 2020 as I don’t have to face Jasprit Bumrah.”

The funny take of Lynn left Twitter users in splits, and they also reacted to his tweet.
