IPL 2020: Jasprit Bumrah teases Chris Lynn while welcoming him to Mumbai Indians

Australia’s big-hitter Chris Lynn, snapped up by Mumbai Indians for his base price of Rs 2 crore at the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) auctions on Thursday, expressed his happiness through a tweet.

One of the five points that made him happy, read the tweet, was that he won’t have to face ‘yorker king’ Jasprit Bumrah in IPL 2020.

“@mipaltan Great City Quality Franchise Flat wicket Don’t have to play against @Jaspritbumrah93 Can’t wait for @IPL 2020,” excited Lynn wrote on Twitter.

In reply, Bumrah took a funny dig at the Aussie batsman and wrote: “Haha, welcome to the team! @lynny50 You’re still going to have to face me in the nets.”

Lynn, who has an excellent record, both in the T20 format and in IPL itself, will undoubtedly prove to be a valuable addition to the reigning IPL champions.

On the other hand, Bumrah is part of the MI setup since 2013 and has played a crucial role in the franchise’s IPL triumphs.
