Team India’s star opener KL Rahul recently shared a picture with his alleged girlfriend, Athiya Shetty, on Instagram. He captioned the post with a dialogue from ‘Hera Pheri’, the famous Hindi movie, which featured Athiya’s father, Sunil Shetty: “Hello, devi prasad…?”.
Rahul’s post captured the attention of other cricketers as well, and they reacted by writing the famous dialogues of the same film. Rahul’s teammate from Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) Mandeep Singh wrote, “Kutreya Salya dekh ke number dial kar.”
Shikhar Dhawan, who was replaced by Rahul in the limited-overs series against West Indies after his injury, also commented on the picture. He wrote, “Good one, bro.”
Rahul’s another KXIP teammate and current India opener in Test, Mayank Agarwal, was impressed by the post as well. The Karnataka batsman wrote a dialogue from the same movie, “Rakh! Phone Rakh! #Babubhaiya”.
The past few months have been excellent for KL Rahul. He performed quite magnificently in the recently concluded T20 and ODI series against West Indies. Thanks to his batting brilliance, the 27-year-old, has been selected in the squad for the T20I series against Sri Lanka, which will kick off from January 5, 2020.
