Jasprit Bumrah turned 26 on Friday (December 6). His fans and friends flooded social media with birthday wishes, which includes a special message from the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians (MI). The official handle of MI took to Twitter to wish their frontline bowler in a unique style.
The Mumbai-based franchise not only wished Bumrah on his special day but also trolled Pakistan’s former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq for calling their star a ‘baby bowler.
“From a ‘baby bowler’ to a ‘world-beater,” tweeted MI.

Razzaq, in a recent interview, referred Bumrah as ‘baby bowler’ and also opined that the Indian pacer would have been under pressure while bowling to him.
“After having faced world-class bowlers in my time, I would have had no problem against a bowler like Bumrah. The pressure would have been on him,” said Razzaq.
“I have played against great bowlers like Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram, so Bumrah is a baby bowler in front of me, and I could have easily dominated and attacked him,” added Razzaq.
Razzaq’s statement stirred up the social media, and people, including some former Indian cricketers, have slammed him mercilessly on Twitter.
Bumrah is currently the No. 1 ranked bowler in ODIs, and No. 5 ranked bowler in Test cricket. He missed the series against South Africa and Bangladesh due to a stress fracture.
These days Bumrah is working on his fitness, and fans are eagerly waiting for him to don the Indian jersey once again.
