PAK vs SL 2019: Naseem Shah sheds tears while dedicating the maiden fifer to his mother

On Monday, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 263 runs in the second Test and sealed the two-match series 1-0. The Sri Lankan team had to chase a mammoth target of 476, but they could only score 212.

After a draw in the first Test, the Azhar Ali-led side bounced back to clinch the series. This win is extraordinary for Pakistan as it’s their first at home since 2006.

After Shaheen Afridi’s magnificent performance in the first innings, it was the turn of teen-ager Naseem Shah.

Naseem bowled brilliantly in the second innings and became the youngest pacer to claim five wickets in an innings of a Test match.

After his tremendous bowling display against Sri Lanka, the 16-year-old got emotional and shed tears during the post-match conference. The young lad dedicated his maiden five-wicket haul to his mother, whom he lost just before the national call-up.
