Sourav Ganguly reveals his IPL Fantasy XI; picks Rishabh Pant ahead of MS Dhoni

When it comes to picking the best captain in the Indian Premier League (IPL) history, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni’s name will undoubtedly be on everyone’s mouth. Many also believe Dhoni being the best captain in the history of Indian cricket.

But the current BCCI president and former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Sourav Ganguly did not pick Dhoni in his IPL Fantasy XI. During a recent event in Kolkata, Ganguly was asked to reveal his fantasy team for the forthcoming 13th edition of the IPL

So, Ganguly did create the team but kept Dhoni out his IPL squad.

Later, Dada also clarified his decision of not including the three-time IPL trophy winner, Dhoni, in his Fantasy XI.

Ganguly took 22-year-old wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant as Dhoni’s replacement in his team. “It’s purely for fun, to entertain all. Pant is a young wicketkeeper-batsman. I don’t want any debate for it,” Ganguly, the former Delhi Capitals mentor, said in his explanation,
