Chris Lynn, the explosive Australian batsman, has once again shown his adroitness in the 9th match of the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL). While captaining the Brisbane Heat (BRH), he failed to lead his team to the maiden victory of the current season until BRH played against Sydney Sixers (SYS) at their home ground in Sydney.
Heat defeated Sixers by 48 runs courtesy of Lynn’s destructive innings. Lynn smashed 94 runs from just 35 balls at a breath-taking strike-rate of 268.57.
Mett Renshaw, on the other hand, remained unbeaten on 60 off 39 deliveries.
Lynn demolished the Sixers’ bowling unit by hitting four 4s and 11 gigantic sixes, taking his side to 209/4.

Lynn went on to score his half-century off just 20 deliveries.
Chasing 210 to win, Sixers could manage to score only 161/7. English batsman James Vince was their highest scorer. He made 39 from 27 balls.
For his outstanding innings, Lynn was rewarded with the ‘Player of the Match’ award.
