Faf du Plessis left everyone in splits on Sunday with his hilarious answer to a question about why his teammate Hardus Viljoen was sitting out of Mzansi Super League (MSL) 2019 game against Nelson Mandela Bay Giants.
At the toss, Paarl Rocks’ skipper Du Plessis was asked about the changes in the playing XI.
As part of the team news, Du Plessis said that fast bowler Viljoen won’t be playing.
“Hardus Viljoen not playing today because he’s lying in bed with my sister as they got married yesterday,” said Du Plessis, leaving fans and commentators in splits.

Viljoen tied the knot with Du Plessis’ sister Remi Rhynners on Saturday, whom he was dating for almost a year.
