The Big Bash League (BBL) always entertains the cricket fans with unreal and bizarre moments. One such instance happened during the match between the Perth Scorchers (PRS) and Melbourne Renegades (MLR) on Saturday (December 21).
In the fourth over of the Renegades 197-run target, Jhye Richardson bowled a bizzare delivery to Sam Harper, which left everyone in shock.
As the seamer ran in, Harper tried to shuffle across the stumps. Seeing the batsman’s move, Richardson decided to bowl a wide delivery. But it landed on the grass outside the pitch.
Harper, who was already into the shot, tried to cut the ball but didn’t manage to score any run as the shot went straight towards the fielder at backward point.
Doesn't even matter if it lands on the cut stuff. Sam Harper just wants to get bat on ball!

Twitter users, on the other hand, were confused and questioned the legality of the delivery.
No ball or dead ball?
That should've been a no ball, right?
