WATCH: Mohammed Shami bamboozles Shai Hope with a stunning inswinger during the Cuttack ODI

During the series-deciding third ODI against West Indies in Cuttack, India’s premier fast bowler Mohammed Shami delivered an absolute peach to dismiss the in-form Windies opener Shai Hope.

This happened in the 20th over of the first innings after Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and asked the visitors to bat first. Prior to bowling that stunning inswinger, Shami gave away 21 runs in his 4.1 overs. After being given a small break, Kohli introduced him back into the attack and he lived up to his captain’s expectations.

On the second delivery, Shami bowled a stunning inswinger. Hope, attempted to play a flick shot but such was the beauty of the delivery that it went between his bat and pads, hitting the middle of the middle stump.

The Indian players celebrated in delight while the Cuttack crowd shouted at the top of their voice as a dejected Hope walked back to the pavilion.

Meanwhile, the three-match series is currently locked at 1-1. West Indies won the first game by dismantling the hosts by eight wickets. But in the second game, India made a strong comeback and thrashed West Indies by 107 runs.
