India’s middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer demolished West Indies bowling attack in the second One-day International (ODI) of the three-match series in Vizag on Wednesday.
However, Iyer had an embarrassing moment during his flashy innings.
During the 48th over of Indian innings, Iyer cut a short delivery from Windies all-rounder Keemo Paul towards cover. After taking a single, Iyer started celebrating his fifty, but he was on 49 at that moment.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli saw the funny side of the incident and signaled to Iyer from the dressing room that he still has to score a run to reach his half-century. Not only Kohli but Deepak Chahar made fun of Iyer.
