As soon as a result of the 23rd game in the ongoing U19 World Cup came out, it revealed the name of the eighth team who will play in the quarter-finals. It was a clash between South Africa and the UAE, where the hosts got better of their opponent.

The Proteas, after winning the toss, opted to bat first against Aryan Lakra-led side and posted a humongous score of 299-8 in the 50 overs.
