Bangladesh U19 team is rolling the charts in the ongoing U19 World Cup in South Africa. After thrashing Zimbabwe in their first encounter, the ‘Boys in Green’ thrashed Scotland to register their second victory in the competition.
The left-arm orthodox bowler Rakibul Hasan grabbed the maximum four wickets to dismantle the Scottish batting unit. He went on to take the maiden hat-trick of the tournament.
During the 24th over of Scotland’s innings, Hasan first sent Kess Sajjad to the pavilion after the batsman’s inside edge knocked over his stumps. Hasan then got the wicket of Lyle Robertson. The right-handed batter missed a straight delivery and was adjudged leg before wicket (lbw). The Bangladeshi spinner then bowled a quick delivery to break the defense of Charlie Peet and dismantled the stumps to claim the hat-trick.
