KL Rahul impressed everyone with his all-round performance during India’s 36-run win over Australia in the second ODI at Rajkot.
Rahul first smashed 80 runs off 52 deliveries and then produced a lightning-fast stumping off Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling to send Australia captain Aaron Finch packing for 33.
After the victory, the Karnataka-lad took to Instagram to post a few pictures from the second ODI. Soon after Rahul shared the images, Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty posted a ‘heart’ emoji on the post, leading to numerous replies from fans.
Earlier, after being put in to bat first by the Aussie captain, Virat Kohli and Co. posted a mammoth total of 340-6 on board.
Opener Shikhar Dhawan top-scored for the Indian team as he missed his hundred by just four runs. Captain Virat Kohli also chipped in with half-century, scoring 78 off 76 balls.
So now, with the three-match series tied at 1-1, both teams will lock horns in Bengaluru on Sunday (January 19) in the decider.
