IND vs SL 2020: WATCH – Virat Kohli enthrals Indore crowd with hilarious imitation of Harbhajan Singh’s bowling action

Virat Kohli, who is leading Team India in the ongoing T20I series against Sri Lanka, left the fans in fits of laughter ahead of the second T20I in Indore on Tuesday (January 7).

India won the toss and asked Sri Lanka to bat first on the batting-friendly Holkar pitch.

During the warm-up session, Kohli was seen mimicking veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh’s bowling action. After completing the step, the India skipper walked up to Bhajji and Irfan Pathan and greeted them on the field.

In the match, while chasing a target of 143 runs, India got off to a flier as Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul consolidated the Indian innings with remarkable performances. Rahul put up 45 runs and Dhawan scored 32. Captain Kohli played an unbeaten knock of 30 runs from 17 balls.

India chased the set target for the loss of 3 wickets in 17.3 overs. Leg spinner Wanindu Hasaranga took two wickets for the visitors.

Earlier, the fast-bowling duo of Navdeep Saini (2/18) and Shardul Thakur (3/23) picked up five wickets to restrict Sri Lanka to a modest score of 142 for 9 in the stipulated 20 overs.

Navdeep was adjudged the ‘Player of the Match.’

The third and final T20I will be played on Friday (January 10) at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
