Sarfaraz Khan has slammed another double hundred in the ongoing Ranji Trophy for Mumbai. During the match against Himanchal Pradesh, the 22-year old scored an unbeaten 226 at HPCA stadium in Dharmshala.
Mumbai were 16-3 in their first innings when Sarfaraz came out to bat. As he was trying to settle in as his side lost another wicket, and they were 71-4. Then came the skipper Aditya Tare, who along with the youngster helped Mumbai to get out of trouble.
The duo added a 143-run partnership before Tare got out for 62. Sarfaraz, on the other hand, was set and kept on accumulating runs on the scoreboard. The Mumbai-born batsman reached double ton in just 199 balls, including 29 fours and three sixes
At the end of day’s play, Mumbai reached 372-5. Sarfaraz remained not out on 226 along with his batting partner Shubham Ranjane who is on 44.
